I like the composition on this one -- it's stronger than yesterday's. I must confess that the green seems a little contrived to me. It's really a matter of personal taste rather than some grand artistic judgement, but it just seems that the image isn't about the color, it's about the composition, and so the color is distracting our attention from what you're trying to show us. Just my own thought.

@GJC: Thanks for your input. It's a bit of both- the V and the green moss. Due to vague lighting, the image seems flat without perspective. So... if I can desaturate with only green remaining, the eyes can follow the green and see the 'V'!?!?
Personally, I love selective colour... and am quite enamoured in how you did this one.

@amy: Thanks Amy. The image lacked depth (as a result of small digicam sensor), otherwise a very clear shot. So I thought to turn down the saturation, so the eye can following the green color and see the 'v'.
i like the "V" formation of the tree trunks framing the two boulders within and the two boulders on the right corner outside the V frame contrasts the greenery on the lower left corner, simply put i see triangles, lines, V's, circles, oblongs etc., color processing is just fine with me.
