what goes up will come down at 4am...

where: looking at the station wildfire in la canada-flintridge & altadena, from 15 miles away. calif.
this is the latest snap of the wildfire that started last thursday, just above the mountain at the most northern limit of the greater los angeles area.
honestly, it's a mesmerizing view- like looking up standing at ground zero of nevada testing site- seeing shroom cloud shoot up, dissolve, and plume up again. this is very close from work & home, though I am far from any fire hazard, what goes up will come down between 2-5 in the morning when wind stops & ground temperature cools. smoke, debris, burnt leaves, ash...
I am having the same bad campfire dream for 4 straight days now & I am hating the smell of fresh fire wood, especially pine.
